• Why is Mary mentioned so much?

    Without Mary’s free acceptance of her calling from God we would not have Jesus in human flesh. Also, the fact that Scripture refers to her in such a special way is good enough reason to talk about her. The frequency of the mention of Mary in any particular setting really depends on your perspective. In my experience Mary is not the core component of faith. The core of Catholicism is Jesus, not Mary.

November 5 - Annual Harvest Dinner and Silent Auction

The St. William Women's Club is having their Annual Harvest Dinner and Silent Auction on Sat. Nov 5, 2016 in our Life Center located next door to the Church. We will be serving Turkey and Dressing and all the trimmings. The Auction will be from 4:00 P M to 6:30 P M and dinner will be served starting at 5:30 P M. Tickets will be available in advance. Call Bitha Luze at 872-3635 or Shirley Maes at 647-6111 of the Church Office at 872-4099 for tickets or more information. Price is $10.00 for adults and 5.00 for children under 12

Merciful like the Father

On Saturday, April 11, the Vigil of the Feast of Divine Mercy, Pope Francis promulgated the papal document that officially declared the extraordinary Jubilee Year of Mercy. Set to run from Dec. 8, 2015, the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, to Nov. 20, 2016, the Solemnity of Christ the King, it'll be a time of great grace.

Dear Fellow Parishioners,
Do you shop at Kroger? If so, please follow the directions below and register your Kroger Plus Card to make additional funds for St. William. When you shop and use your card, a small percentage will be credited to St. William. The church office will receive a quarterly check directly from Kroger. Please help with this endeavor.

You have to register your card with the non-profit number for St. William only once a year. The Non Profit Organization (NPO) number for Church of St. William is: 80450. Thank you in advance - Kroger Community Rewards Program Instructrions
